Hungarian Government Scholarship Programme – Academic Year 2026-2027

The School of Higher Commercial Studies (EHEC) is pleased to announce the opening of applications for the Hungarian Government Scholarship under the Stipendium Hungaricum Programme for the 2026–2027 academic year.

This programme is open to top-ranking students (majors de promotion) – up to three per field of study – who are enrolled during the 2025–2026 academic year:

• in Bachelor 3 (L3), aiming to pursue a Master’s degree, or

• in Master 2 (M2) or 5th year Engineering (Ing5), aiming to pursue a Doctorate (PhD).

📅 Important Dates

• Online application deadline on the Stipendium Hungaricum platform: January 15, 2026

• Deadline for submitting complete files to the School: February 1, 2026

Each application must include the proof of online registration on the Stipendium Hungaricum platform.
An Excel file (attached template) must also be completed by the institution and submitted with the applications.

🗂️ Required Application Documents

All documents must be compiled into a single PDF file in the following order:

1. Application form (attached template)

2. Proof of online registration on the Stipendium Hungaricum platform

3. Copy of the selection committee report

4. Handwritten motivation letter signed by the academic supervisor

5. Baccalaureate transcript

6. • For PhD applicants: Registration/re-registration certificates for five academic years

   • For Master’s applicants: Registration/re-registration certificates for three academic years

7. • For PhD applicants: Transcripts for the first four years of study

   • For Master’s applicants: Transcripts for the first two years of study

8. Certificate of academic excellence (major de promotion – attached template)

9. Certificate indicating the student’s “number of stars” (attached template)

10. Copy of the first page of the passport

11. Recent ID photo
