What is meant by global markets and globalized world?

Does it mean that the world as a whole  is moving towards building a global village and benefiting from the integration of economic, political, and cultural systems across the globe? Or is it the domination of a few developed countries over the poorer, less powerful nations?

The course is dedicated to providing students with information and interdisciplinary learning opportunities on this complex phenomenon. The goal is to challenge students to think about many of the controversies surrounding globalization and to promote an understanding of the trade-offs and dilemmas facing policy-makers.

This class project is made available from the State University of New York (SUNY) and involves a wide range of issues, many of which are worth sharing with International Affairs students at HEC Alger.
